Terms of sale
Effective from May 6, 2026.
Article 1 — Scope
These Terms of Sale govern all sales of products made on pettylemon.com between PETTY LEMON and any consumer ("the Customer") acting outside of any professional activity.
Placing an order implies full acceptance of these Terms.

Article 3 — Products
The products offered for sale are PETTY LEMON garments, made-to-order in a partner atelier. The essential characteristics of each product (composition, size, colour) are described on the corresponding product page.
Visuals presented on the site are as faithful as possible to the actual products. Slight variations in colour may exist depending on screens.
Article 4 — Prices
Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included.
As PETTY LEMON benefits from the French VAT exemption regime (article 293 B of the French Tax Code), prices are stated VAT not applicable.
Shipping costs are specified before order validation.
PETTY LEMON reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time of order validation.
Article 5 — Order
The Customer places an order directly on the site by selecting items, sizes, and quantities, then validating the cart.
The order is definitively recorded after acceptance of these Terms and payment confirmation.
A confirmation email is sent to the Customer at the address provided.
PETTY LEMON reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for legitimate reasons, including payment issues, manifest pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is made online by credit card or by the payment methods offered on the site (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, etc.). Transactions are secured by Shopify Payments.
The order is validated upon effective confirmation of payment.
Article 7 — Shipping
Products are shipped to the address provided by the Customer at the time of order.
Indicative timeframes:
- Production: 7 to 12 business days (made-to-order)
- France shipping: 2 to 5 business days
- Europe shipping: 5 to 10 business days
- International shipping: 7 to 15 business days
Timeframes are indicative and do not constitute a firm commitment. Any exceptional delay will be communicated to the Customer by email.
Shipping costs are at the Customer's expense and are specified before order validation.
Article 8 — Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has 14 days from the day of receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide a reason.
To exercise this right, the Customer must notify PETTY LEMON of their decision by email at contact@pettylemon.com, clearly stating their intention to withdraw. The Customer may use the withdrawal form template in Article 10 below, although this is not mandatory.
Article 9 — Return and Refund Conditions
To be eligible for a return, the product must:
- Be in its original condition (unworn, unwashed)
- Have all tags attached
- Be returned in its original packaging where possible
Return shipping costs are at the Customer's expense, except in case of defective product or error on our part.
The product must be returned to the address provided by PETTY LEMON after receipt of the withdrawal request, and no later than 14 days after notification.
Refund is processed within 14 days from the day on which PETTY LEMON is informed of the Customer's withdrawal decision. However, in accordance with article L.221-24 of the French Consumer Code, PETTY LEMON reserves the right to defer the refund until receipt of the returned product or until the Customer has provided proof of shipment of the product, whichever is earlier.
The refund is processed using the same payment method used at purchase. The refund amount corresponds to the product price, excluding initial shipping costs (unless the entire order is returned, in which case standard shipping costs are also refunded).
PETTY LEMON reserves the right to reduce the refund if the value of the product has diminished due to handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and proper functioning of the product.

Article 11 — Defective Product or Order Error
In case of receipt of a defective product or a product different from the order, the Customer is invited to contact PETTY LEMON within 48 hours at contact@pettylemon.com, attaching photographs of the issue.
An exchange or full refund, including return shipping costs, will be offered.
Article 12 — Legal Warranties
Independently of the right of withdrawal, the Customer benefits as of right from:
- The legal warranty of conformity (articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code), allowing the product to be brought into conformity for 2 years from delivery.
- The legal warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code), for 2 years from the discovery of the defect.
To invoke these warranties, the Customer may contact PETTY LEMON at contact@pettylemon.com.
Article 13 — Personal Data
The personal data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act. For more information, please consult the Privacy Policy.
Article 14 — Intellectual Property
All elements of the site and PETTY LEMON products (trademarks, slogans, phrases, designs, photographs, texts) are the exclusive property of PETTY LEMON. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited and may result in legal action.
Article 15 — Consumer Mediation
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code regarding the "consumer dispute mediation process", after having contacted us and in the absence of a satisfactory response, you have the option to use a free consumer mediation procedure with:

Article 16 — Force Majeure
PETTY LEMON shall not be held liable for the non-performance or delay in performance of its obligations in cases of force majeure, as defined by French case law.
Article 17 — Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after failure of an attempt at amicable resolution and mediation, French courts shall have jurisdiction. In accordance with article R.631-3 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may bring the matter, at their choice, before the court of the place where they resided at the time of the conclusion of the contract or the occurrence of the harmful event.
Article 18 — Modification of Terms
PETTY LEMON reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The applicable Terms are those in force at the date of the order.
